Education or training skills

I developed a series of glycomics workshops that teach students how to analyse glycomics data from a liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry experiment. The sample data is from monoclonal antibody glycans as an industrially relevant example and the assessment is done in the style of contract research organisation (CRO) report to give students an insight into how a contract analysis facility works. This Masters level course is the first of its kind in Australia, and I've also delivered it to members of the research group I'm a part of to help introduce new students to the subject area.

Management or supervision skills

I have experience supervising Masters' level research students and research assistants. Student supervision is a continuous learning experience when it comes to considering the needs and projects of different students. Overall, the students remind me of what its like to be a student and it's a real privilege to be able to support them as they start their research careers
